British Colonial Collection - Beds

British Colonial beds were also made of hardwoods such as teak and mahogany.  Again, cane and rattan were used on headboards and footboards to allow the breezes of the Southern Hemisphere to flow throughout the bedroom.   If you look closely at British Colonial beds, you will notice, perhaps, a caved pineapple or another whimsical carving atop the posts.
